Knowillage will be at Educause in Denver, Colorado - the largest higher education conference in the world - from November 6-9, 2012. Students from Queen Elizabeth Secondary School in Surrey, BC, adopted our Science 10 tool in their classroom today. They were very excited and used the tool to try almost all of its features, and found it to be the most helpful free tool available for Science 10 provincial exam. All science teachers thought highly of the tool and will continue using it in their Science 10 curriculum.

All Grade 10 students from Richmond's Steveston-London Secondary School are now using our Science 10 course. We continued to get excellent feedback as they used it for a chemistry assignment and to learn about balancing chemical equations and rates of reactions. Students exercised a broad spectrum of the functionality, using the study plans, practice questions and quizzes, search capabilities, and progress tracking.

Grade 10 students of Southpointe Academy in Tsawwassen, B.C. used the Knowillage Science 10 course, making Southpointe the first school to use this Knowillage offering in the classroom. Students completed a biology assignment on ecosystems using the product, and the response from the students afterwards was exciting: they liked how easy it was to find what they need and the many learning features available, and hope to use it again for Science 10 and other courses to come.

Knowillage is in the process of working with teachers from private and public schools to build out the first offering on our learning platform. This course will help BC students learn the Science 10 curriculum and prepare for its provincial exam. Teachers are helping validate application`s features and our pedagogical assumptions and values it brings to their students. Also, they are assisting us in selecting, assembling and approving most credible content and questions which will be loaded in the platform for the Science 10 course.

On June 25th and 26th, 2012, intermediate students from Southpointe Academy, one of B.C.'s top-ranked private schools, will become the first students to use Knowillage - an online adaptive learning engine that provides personalized study plans in a completely innovative way. Knowillage ensures improved grades via personally tailored (and significantly shorter) learning paths using open-source content like Wikipedia from the internet. This removes limitations of traditional teaching methods, decreases the time needed to learn, and allows students to take full advantage of individual learning styles and abilities through a free and accessible platform. Using the program will come easily to students, most of whom already use similar technologies like Facebook and Google on a regular basis. With these early trials of Knowillage, we are hoping to be on the brink of joining the ranks of other notables in the online learning/service industry. The field study will take place at Southpointe Academy in Tsawwassen, and aims to demonstrate a practical application of the Knowillage product in real-time.
