He is a proven team builder and trusted leader with fearless passion for technology and education. When not thinking about how to make a dent in the universe, Bill is chanting, "Knowillage. Students. Mladen Malkovich
Mladen leads product management and business development at Knowillage. Mladen entered the e-learning world in 2001 at WebCT as a product manager, then spent 8 years at Pearson Education delivering a number of MyLab and K12 strategic product initiatives. In his free time Mladen, absorbs history in an effort to predict tomorrow, and loves spending time with his wife and daughter, or enjoying activities that involve speed, control, and balance.
Ryan Ogg
Ryan heads the operations side of things at Knowillage, making impossible happen. Ryan entered the e-learning world back in 1997 as employee #3 at WebCT, and hasn't looked back. While initially a developer, his compulsive organization skills moved him into project management, and he's since used those skills to benefit a number of the largest educational companies. In his rare off hours, Ryan spends time with his wife and friends, making music, cycling, or looking for a cheap but delicious meal.
Stephen Michaud
Stephen is the subject matter expert for the algorithms and heuristics that drive Knowillage's recommendations. With over fifteen years of software development experience, most recently with WebCT and Pearson Education, Stephen has blended his Quality Assurance and Project Management skills to provide high value, high quality software. A compulsive reader and movie buff, Stephen is also one of a rare breed who voluntarily stands in front of pucks as a goalie.
Martin Bayly
Martin leads engineering at Knowillage and is responsible for turning Bill's vision into cool software - fast! He has over 20 years of software development experience working in a wide-range of industries. He's worked with both WebCT and Pearson Education, and has recently helped two other technology start-ups find their feet. In an ever changing technological world, Martin loves to create learning software because he loves learning himself. If he's not at his computer playing with the latest tech, you may find him sailing with his family on the BC coast.
